Howdy!  By default MAME uses video filtering that will skew colors.  We can understand those, but you must do two things:

1: Open up your MAME.ini file (located where MAME.exe is) and change the value of "filter" (in the "OSD ACCELERATED VIDEO OPTIONS" section) from 1 to 0.  

2: Go to PalMod's Preview : Settings : Drop Settings "Use MAME math instead for RGB555_LE (CPS3)" option and check that so it is on.  Turn that off if you're not dealing with MAME screenshots.

If you do not do these two things, you will not be able to match palettes between PalMod and MAME.
