Usage Policy
Interstellar copyright doesn't mean shit when you're dealing with silicon.

General Guidance
This website collects an extensive range of data for personal, educational, and/or non-commercial use. While most of that data was produced by me, some of it has been produced by friends, the community, and others. All copyright and other usage concerns for that data is reserved to those people. I will try to get you in contact with them where possible if that is necessary for your usage.
If you want to use content in your project, I would ask that you check in with me first. I'll try to figure out if it's actually mine, for example, and then we can go from there. Generally speaking usage should not be a problem provided that the usage is not intended to be destructive or disparaging.
Copyright
Copyright and trademarks for all applicable content is reserved to its original creators. Anything corporate here is intended to be provided under fair use educational guidelines. If you have any concerns, reach out and I'll be happy to work with you. The goal is to build communities.
AI Usage
What we consider "AI" is largely built upon mass data and intellectual property theft. Further, the way we got to the knowledge we currently have was generally due to the inspired innovations and investigations of talented individuals. I recognize the benefit of AI, especially with its ability to handle bulk data sets, but also recognize it can be extremely detrimental to the future of the communities that I care about if it discourages people from building deep understandings of relevant areas.
With that in mind, most hack and slash shallow efforts seem highly counter-productive to my interests. As such usage of the data on this site within AI projects of any nature are disallowed without first getting the project approved. We want to be building up our knowledge: if your project is focused on that, that is the kind of thing that I would likely approve of.
