Production notes:

The ASF was produced from an edited videotape production - 1 day production, 1 day editing. Editing took place on a D-Vision system running on NT and was then exported to digital Beta tape

The video was then captured in YUV by a Targa-2000 system using Premier 4.2., deinterlaced and rendered as an AVI sized 320x240.

For the higher bandwidth the AVI was converted to ASF directly using vid2asf.exe.

For the 160 Kbs version the AVI frame rate was reduced to .2fps and the individual frames exported as a sequence of dibs. The Dibs were placed into the Netshow ASF Editor which converted them to loss tolerant JPEGs The audio file was separated and reduced to an 11k 8bit format.

The NetShow ASF Editor was used to insert script commands and markers triggering other frame displays on the page. Open the file named \source\160b160.aep to see the construction of of the work.
