Please see the URL below for detailed info on those glitches. zachd.com/nki/NKI-glitch.bible.txt >-------------------< The Combos/Glitches >-------------------< -Boxer vs. Fei on car bonus stage (Dreamcast)- If Boxer's super hits both Fei and the car, Boxer will freeze until Fei turns around. Because the first punch of the super is totally invincible, Fei can not hit Boxer during this time. Once Fei turns around, Boxer will do another punch, then freeze again. Repeat 5 times total. -Ryu vs. Fei (Dreamcast)- cross-up j.RH, rush punch, cr.Strong, cr.RH j.Fierce, cr.Fierce xx super -Ken vs. Gief on car bonus stage (Dreamcast)- j.Forward, cr.Strong, cr.Forward xx RH Hurricane Kick (redizzy) The Hurricane Kick alternates between hitting Gief (who is on the right side) and hitting the car (which is on the left side). -Hawk vs. Fei on oil drums bonus stage (Dreamcast)- There is actually a second row of barrels which are invisible, and they are enclosing Hawk and Fei. Hawk does his super but can't get off the ground because the invisible barrels are above him, so he just does to very quick slams and the super is over. -Cammy vs. O.Sagat on car bonus stage (Dreamcast)- If the opponent is standing on the car, he can be air thrown, producing strange graphical glitches. -Akuma vs. Dhalsim (Dreamcast)- See Akuma Time Stop glitch in The Glitch Bible. -Intro Graphical Glitches (Dreamcast)- See TUG in The Glitch Bible. -Fei vs. Hawk on oil drums bonus stage (Dreamcast)- If the bottom row of drums is still in tact, Fei's air throw will glitch up because there isn't enough room for both him and the opponent to fit between the edge of the stage and the drums. -Dictator vs. Dhalsim on barrels bonus stage (Dreamcast)- Because TUG is active, the barrels are invisible. -Cammy vs. O.Sagat on car bonus stage (Dreamcast)- Cammy does st.Fierce xx super from the top of the car with O.Sagat standing on the ground. Cammy's super will actually hit for as long as she is falling, so if she falls from higher up, she hits more times, which is why she gets four hits on the way down, as opposed to the usual two hits. -Fei vs. Hawk on oil drums bonus stage (Dreamcast)- Because TUG is active, the second row of drums is invisible. Fei is standing on that row, and he is being burned by the flame that comes up out of the drums. After Hawk destroys the drums, Fei falls. -Dictator vs. Chun on car bonus stage (Dreamcast)- Dictator's Devil's Reverse (charge down, up+punch) will freeze for a moment if he hits the car, and you can still move him left and right during this time. -Ryu vs. Dhalsim (arcade)- Dhalsim does a j.Forward which gets hit by the first hit of Ryu's super. As Sim falls, the super fireball continues travelling and juggles Dhalsim two more times, follwed by a short delay, then the fourth hit juggles and kills as Ryu does a DP. -Dictator vs. Gief on oil drums bonus stage (Dreamcast)- Dictator throws Gief and does a meaty headstomp which hits as Dictator lands, follwed by st.Short x4, cr.RH for the dizzy. The cr.RH also destroys the drum behind Dictator, and sets him on fire. -Dictator vs. Blanka on the Versus screen (Dreamcast)- There is no text present because TUG is active. -Fei vs. Ryu (Dreamcast)- Fei did his super first, then got hit by Ryu's super, and both character's shadows stayed on screen. -Dictator vs. Chun on car bonus stage (Dreamcast)- Dictator's shadows are black for some reason. -Ken vs. Hawk (arcade)- Hawk's cr.Strong has a stray vulnerable hit box which is way out in front of Hawk, so if an attack is timed just right, Hawk can get hit from very far away. -Blanka's ending (Dreamcast)- Sprites are missing because TUG is active. -Fei vs. Hawk on oil drums bonus stage (Dreamcast)- Fei does his kick throw to Hawk, and Fei gets stuck in the drums. -Guile's ending (Dreamcast)- Sprites are missing because TUG is active. -Hawk vs. Blanka (arcade)- Blanka activates his super, and as he is coming towards Hawk, Hawk does whiff cr.Forward, super. -Boxer vs. Fei (arcade)- Backwards Final TAP, cr.Jab->cr.Jab xx super (100% damage) -Ken vs. Ken (arcade)- If Ken kills with his QCF+kick move, he can infinitely cancel the recovery animation into another QCF+kick. If the kick button is held down (which causes the overhead to come out), Ken will stop. -Akuma vs. Sagat (Dreamcast)- See Akuma Time Stop glitch in The Glitch Bible. -Guile vs. Sagat (Dreamcast)- Guile's Sonic Boom is invisible because TUG is active. -Akuma vs. Akuma (Dreamcast)- See Akuma Time Stop glitch in The Glitch Bible. -Chun vs. DeeJay on oil drums bonus stage (Dreamcast)- See Invincible Characters glitch in The Glitch Bible. -Claw vs. Blanka (Dreamcast)- Blanka can be thrown cleanly out of his electricity. No glitches necessary. -Ryu vs. Akuma (Dreamcast)- See Akuma Time Stop glitch in The Glitch Bible. -Still image: Chun vs. Dhalsim (arcade)- This is a still image of the first frame of Dhalsim being killed by Chun's super. It can't be seen with the naked eye at full speed, but if the game is slowed down frame-by-frame, this is what it looks like. Different backgrounds produce different results. -Still image: Ken vs. Ken (arcade)- This is a still image of a random graphical glitch that happens throughout the arcade version. The background will glitch out for only a very split second (one or two frames). It can be seen with the naked eye, but it is too fast to really get a good look at. -Still image: Ryu vs. Dhalsim (arcade)- This is a still image of the first frame of Dhalsim being killed by Ryu's super. It can't be seen with the naked eye at full speed, but if the game is slowed down frame-by-frame, this is what it looks like. Different backgrounds produce different results. -Chun vs. Dhalsim (arcade)- j.RH, st.Strong, st.Fierce (dizzy) meaty st.Fierce, st.Strong xx super Because time ran out just before the super hit, and Dhalsim had more life at that time, Dhalsim actually wins the round, but the game still shows the super flash finish. Also, Dhalsim doesn't fall over until the last hit of the super (even though the first hit caused the super flash finish). -Ken vs. Fei (arcade)- Ken throws a Jab fireball which Fei jumps over. Fei then throws Ken with punch. Ken tech hits, and both characters chase the fireball. Ken jumps back and Fei does a Rekka Ken into the fireball as Ken does cross-up j.Forward, cr.Short->cr.Short->cr.Short xx super. Same as above, Fei actually wins the round, because time ran out before the super hit. -O.Chun vs. Gief (arcade)- Display of Chun's awkward hit boxes on her st.Strong and st.Fierce, which can not hit a ducking character, even from almost point blank range. -Ken vs. Ken (arcade)- 1P Ken hits 2P Ken with an instant air Hurrican Kick, 2P Ken reverses with instant air Hurricane Kick, 1P Ken reverses with instant air Hurricane Kick which trades with 2P Ken's far st.RH, and both die in a double KO. See Instant Air Hurricane Kick glitch in The Glithc Bible. -Dictator vs. O.Sagat (arcade)- j.Strong x2, cr.Jab->cr.Jab->st.Jab xx j.Jab -Chun vs. Gief (arcade)- See Whiffed FAB glitch in The Glitch Bible. -Akuma vs. Akuma (Dreamcast)- See Akuma Time Stop glitch in The Glitch Bible. -Dictator vs. Chun (Dreamcast)- See TUG in The Glitch Bible. -Hawk vs. Honda (arcade)- If Hawk jumps over Honda and does his super as soon as he lands, Hawk will be facing the wrong way when he starts the super, but he still grabs Honda as normal. >------------------< Thanks and credits >------------------< Thanks to T-Akiba for creating the web site with the most insanely detailed technical info for Street Fighter. http://games.t-akiba.net Thanks to TZW, Zero Koubou, Mike Z, jeaux, and Majestros for combo and glitch inspiration.
