Restrictions: -only works if you are 2P -only works if you are on the right side -only works against thinner characters (does not work against Gief, Blanka, Honda, etc.) Dictator vs. Guile setup: Dic knocks down Guile and does a fake meaty. Guile does reversal Flash Kick, which Dic blocks (see note below). Dic hits Guile out of the air with a st.Jab, then does a very meaty cross-up slide. Restrictions: -only works against certain characters, like Guile, Sim, and Chun NOTE: Though it may look like Dic did a safe meaty, in this particular situation it was simply a fake-out. The cr.Forward was done too early to hit. However, there are safe meaties in ST. Moves that have either very fast recovery (like many of DeeJay's normals), or a very small vulnerable hit box (like Chun's cr.Forward) can be done as safe meaties such that if the opponent reverses, you will block, but if the opponent doesn't reverse, they will block your meaty. Fei vs. Ken setup: Fei knocks Ken out of the air with st.RH, then walks under and does backwards cross-up meaty st.Forward, st.Fierce xx Flame Kick Ryu vs. T.Hawk setup: Ryu hits Hawk with j.Fierce, cr.Forward xx super, but Hawk pops out of the combo right before the super connects, then grabs Ryu with a walk-up 720. This happens because the j.Fierce connected on Hawk as he was in pre-jump animation. (He hit the up direction just before getting hit by the j.Fierce.) The walking 720 was done by ending the 720 motion on the towards direction on the exact frame that Hawk landed, so he had 12 frames to walk before doing the super. Ryu vs. Chun setup: Ryu does a reversal super as Chun does a meaty st.Foward. Because her hit box is in the very front, and because Ryu is sticking his arms way out, the super goes through Chun, and she counters with st.Jab -> cr.Jab xx super, upkicks. This was done with the super stored. (You can let go of towards for just a split second to do neutral+medium kick, then immediately hold towards again, and you'll still have the super stored.) Honda vs. Guile setup: Honda throws Guile in the corner with Fierce, then as Guile is falling, Honda walks towards and does cr.RH, which causes Guile to fall on the otherside (crossing him up). Honda then follows up with j.RH, st.Jab, st.Strong, st.Fierce for the kill. Gief vs. Fei setup: Gief knocks down Fei with cross-up splash, cr.RH, then goes for another cross-up splash. Gief does it as a safe-jump, so when Fei tries to do reversal Flame Kick, Gief safely blocks it (backwards), then retaliates with a super. Dictator vs. Claw setup: With Claw near the corner, Dic does j.Strong, st.Jab xx Fierce Psycho Crusher. Dic lands in the corner, but Claw bounces slightly when he hits the ground, switching sides, and then he gets nailed by meaty cr.Forward, st.RH as he gets up. Sim vs. Ryu setup: Sim knocks down Ryu with an anti-air Yoga Blast, then as Ryu is knocked down, Sim does a medium drill to get to the other side of Ryu. As Ryu is getting up, Sim does another drill (RH this time) to cross-up Ryu and get back to the other side. Sim follows up the cross-up RH drill with a back+Fierce for the dizzy. Note: Although Sim's RH drill hits Ryu on the other side, this is actually NOT blocked as a cross-up. Blanka vs. Ryu setup: Blanka hits Ryu with a cross-up j.Short, st.Strong (one hit) canceled into dash to the other side, again does st.Strong (one hit) canceled into dash back to the original side. Ryu then tries to do reversal DP, but it comes out backwards, and Blanka nails Ryu with a st.Fierce for the dizzy. Dictator vs. Ryu setup: Dic knocks down Ryu, then does meaty cross-up j.Foward, st.short, st.Short, st.Short xx Psycho Crusher. Dic then walks up, ducks in front of Ryu to fake a crouching meaty, and pops him with an instant j.Forward overhead for the dizzy. Follows up with st.Short, st.Short, st.RH for the kill. Sim vs. Gief setup: Gief gets owned up by Sim for a while, then does his stomach crunch (neutral jumping up+Fierce) to trade with Sim's st.RH. In the Japanese version, the stomach crunch is pretty much a guaranteed dizzy, so as Sim is seeing stars, Gief whiffs two green hands to get close, then grabs with the super for the win. Hawk vs. Ryu setup: Ryu knocks down Hawk, then does a meaty uppercut as Hawk gets up. While Ryu is in the middle of his Shoryuken, Hawk grabs Ryu with a 720. This works because there are two frames where the Shoryuken is on the ground and NOT invincible (therefor throwable). Hawk vs. Chun setup: Chun attempts to do reversal Spinning Bird Kick as she gets up, but Hawk grabs her with the super while she is upside down. This works because Chun is actually on the ground for the first 23 frames of the Spinning Bird Kick, but she's only invincible for the first 17 frames. Claw vs. Ryu Same as above, Hawk vs. Ryu. Gief vs. Ryu setup: Gief perfectly times a meaty splash against Ryu such that the wake-up reversal DP gets stuffed by Gief's splash. Gief follows up with cr.Jab x4, cr.RH (dizzy). Chun vs. Sim setup: Chun combos headstomp x3 against a dizzy Sim, then Sim tries to catch Chun with a cr.RH (the slide) as Chun lands. Chun headstomps three of those attempts, then cleanly beats Sim's st.Forward attempt using her j.Forward. Dictator vs. Sim setup: Sim techs Dic's throw, and Dic does meaty cross-up slide. (Same as above, Dictator vs. Guile.) Chun vs. Ryu setup: Ryu attempts to do wakeup reversal DP to Chun, but she headstomps him cleanly. This works because Chun's vulnerable hit box is too high up for the DP to reach. T.Hawk vs. Boxer setup: Hawk knocks down Boxer, then does safe j.Jab. Boxer tries to reverse with a should charge, but Hawk blocks and retaliates with a 360 as Boxer lands. Repeat again. On the third time, Boxer blocks the j.Jab, then eats the super. If Boxer doesn't have meter, there is nothing he can do about Hawk's safe j.Jab. Sim vs. Chun setup: Sim gets Chun in a noogie, then does cross-up meaty cr.Forward (the slide), comboed into back+Fierce (two-hit headbutt) for the dizzy, follow up with meaty Jab fireball, super. This only works against Chun and Claw, and it only works against Chun if she is standing. If she ducks, the slide simply whiffs. Chun vs. Guile setup: Chun knocks down Guile, then does meaty cross-up D/F+RH (the flip kick). After the flip kick connects, she jumps to the other side (crosses up Guile), and does another meaty cross-up flip kick. After that flip kick connects, she walks up and does an early (fake-out) flip kick, lands on the other side of Guile and does a backwards cr.Forward. Guile tries to hit her with his own cr.Forward, but he gets beat cleanly. Chun follows up by comboing st.Jab -> st.Jab -> cr.Jab xx super, upkicks Cammy vs. Fei setup: Cammy knocks Fei out of the air with a st.Strong, walks under him and does meaty cross-up backwards st.Short, st.Strong, st.Fierce xx super. Dictator vs. Gief setup: Dic does j.RH, st.Short, cr.Forward xx Scissor Kicks (dizzy), repeat. After the second rep, Gief is in the corner, and Dic does a Fierce Psycho Crusher to get to the other side, followed up with a meaty cr.Forward, j.Strong for the win. Note that the cross-up Psycho Crusher is very character-specific and side-specific. Chun vs. Sim setup: Chun is falling into the corner after being released from a Yoga Noogie. Sim tries to do a meaty cr.Short slide, but Chun does reversal throw. Sim techs the throw, which causes him (for some reason) to fall into the corner (switching sides), and Chun hits him with a st.Fierce xx Lightning Legs for the dizzy, follow up with j.RH, st.Fierce xx super Hawk vs. Ryu setup: Hawk does cross-up j.Forward, cr.Jab -> cr.Jab -> st.Jab xx uppercut. Ryu tries to do wake-up reversal DP, but Hawk does his own DP, which has more invinciblity, so Ryu gets dizzied by Hawk's uppercut. Ken vs. Dictator setup: Ken has Dic in a knee-bash throw near the corner. After releasing Dic, Ken walks under Dic, into the corner, and does backwards jump straight up cross-up j.Short, followed up with cr.Short x2 into super. Blanka vs. T.Hawk setup: Blanka knocks down Hawk with a cr.RH, then does medium Blanka Ball to get to the other side, followed by meaty st.Strong, 2-hit headbutt for the dizzy. Follow up with cross-up j.Short, cr.Forward, cr.Forward xx Blanka Ball Chun vs. Chun setup: Red Chun has green Chun cornered, and red Chun is doing Lightning Legs. Green Chun attempts to super through, but gets clocked. Ken vs. Gief setup: Ken does cross-up j.Forward, cr.Strong, cr.RH, then as Gief is getting up, Ken does a juice kick (very low instant air Hurricane Kick) which crosses up Gief and hits him in the back of the head for the dizzy. Follow up with neutral jumping RH, st.Fierce xx super. Akuma vs. Fei setup: Akuma does j.Fierce, cr.Forward xx medium Hurricane Kick, juggle with air Hurricane Kick for the dizzy. Follow up with j.Fierce, st.Fierce xx Fierce red fireball. As Fei is getting up, Akuma does a Jab air fireball, then teleports to the other side, so Fei gets hit in the back of the head by the fireball, and Akuma combos a st.Jab xx uppercut. >------------------< Thanks and credits >------------------< Big, big thanks to Joseph "jeaux" Congdon for giving me the idea of doing a shenanigans video.
