This was my first attempt at making a video using voice over instead of title cards. The idea for the video came shortly after Joo and I finished the work on the DVD. I was thinking about how much different the DVD would have turned out had we used voice over instead of regular title cards (we had about 900 per language) throughout the whole project. It was a fun experience to work with this kind of content because I got to see how very small variations in voice can throw off the continuity of the work. Unfortunately, there was more re-recording than I thought there would be, but it turned out all right in the end.
As for the content of the video, I wanted to simply make any kind of video with voice over and to have something to release simultaneously with Joo's DVD. The point of the project was to bide time for the DVD's download since it's about 7.5gbs. I never had made a video showing how I play, so I thought it would be somewhat entertaining since I have a weird play style. I'm happy with how the video turned out since I had no idea what it would be like in the end.
Originally I had about 16 minutes of content, but at the time of the video's release, Youtube did not allow videos to be over 10 minutes. That resulted in me removing, condensing, and shortening some sections and ideas. I think it turned out for the better since the content that I kept was the most interesting out of everything I had.
